Banjo player Bill Smith has been in Revels performances in the past and performed in the 2006 Summer Revels in Boston at the Children's Museum. In fact, some of the pieces on this CD were featured in those performances. The music of the banjo has been a constant in Bill's life and this collection of predominantly traditional music, performed with a band including guitar, whistle, piano, fiddle and bass is a great addition to any folk music collection.
