Here is Kate’s first CD of original songs, hailed by reviewer Lory Hess (Green Man Review) as the work of “a modern troubadour” with a voice that can be “soothing, matter-of-fact, hauntingly pure or passionately entreating.” The CD features 16 songs which range in theme and image from a compassionate Medusa and an oracular taxi driver to the sensuality of the sea and the wickedness of death-by-chocolate. Kate's CD includes a sixteen page booklet with the lyrics for all the songs.
Kate Chadbourne was a presenter at a Revels Salon. Eclectic in content and social in nature, the Revels Salons are a series of lecture-discussions and performances held at the Commander's Mansion in Watertown, MA highlighting favorite Revels artists or those involved with Revels both backstage and in our seasonal stage productions.
